The name of the domain www.assemblea.cat is registered by the Catalan National Assembly with VAT number G65581621 and registered office in Carrer de la Marina 315, 08025 Barcelona.
The Catalan National Assembly guarantees compliance with the current regulations on the protection of data of a personal nature.
As a general rule, the use of the website www.assemblea.cat does not require as a prerequisite that users reveal their personal data. However, in those situations in which the user communicates personal data to the Catalan National Assembly, this organization guarantees the confidentiality of that data, as well as compliance with the entire regulation, and will adopt the necessary technical measures that allow for the required security.
The data that the Catalan National Assembly asks for or that users provide will be treated in conformance with the regulations and will be used with the following objectives:
- With the objective of keeping the user informed about our news and updates and to attend to their questions and requests through the forms and email addresses that we make available for that purpose on the website.
- With the objective of organizing events and campaigns as well as providing information about these events with respect to the objectives of the Catalan National Assembly on its website.
- With the objective of providing a response to the polls that the Catalan National Assembly might wish to carry out.
The data will not be ceded to third parties, nor transferred internationally.
In any event, each time data is collected on the website, information will be provided through a specific section titled “Data Protection” that will have to be read and accepted by the user, who thereby demonstrates they agree with the usage.
The user will be able to exercise their rights stipulated by the data protection regulations at any moment either by written communication, to which the user must attach a photocopy of their DNI (ID card), addressed to the Catalan National Assembly, at Carrer de la Marina, 315; 08025 Barcelona or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, any user who does not agree with the way their data is treated by the Catalan National Assembly may file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

The processing of personal data, as well as the transmission of communications made electronically, is carried out in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th, on the Protection of Personal Data and Law 34/2002, of July 11th, about services of the information society and electronic commerce.
The user accepts that the applicable legislation and the courts and tribunals competent to resolve divergences derived from the interpretation or application of these clauses are those of the Spanish State. The Catalan National Assembly reserves the right to make the changes it deems necessary to the terms and conditions established. Modifications will be highlighted prominently on the www.assemblea.cat website.
INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
The domain name www.assemblea.cat is the property of the Catalan National Assembly. The website www.assemblea.cat in its entirety, including its design, structure, distribution, replies to queries made by users, texts, contents, logos, buttons, images, drawings, source code, documentation, as well as all intellectual and industrial property rights and any other distinctive sign belong to the Catalan National Assembly or, where applicable, to persons or organizations that appear as authors or holders of rights.
In particular, the reproduction (except for private use), transformation, distribution, public communication, made available to the public or any other exploitation of the contents of the website www.assemblea.cat is prohibited, without the written consent of the owner. For these purposes, the interested party has to contact the organization.
ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER, SUBSCRIPTION TO PUBLICATIONS
The Catalan National Assembly gives the user the option for signing up or canceling the newsletter service, through which information is provided about the organization’s news, etc.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CATALAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
The Catalan National Assembly is not liable for any damage or damage derived from circumstances of force majeure such as, for example, errors in communication lines, hardware defects and users’ software, errors in the Internet network (connections on linked pages).
The website cannot be guaranteed to work in a constant, reliable and correct way, without delays or interruptions.
The main objective of the Catalan National Assembly is to guarantee the privacy and confidentiality of the personal data of the users, requested through any system that allows the transmission of data, and traveling through completely safe channels. It therefore states its commitment to comply at all times with the legislation that is in force in this field.

For the resolution of any issue, disagreement, conflict or problem that may arise on the interpretation, application and compliance of this policy, the user submits voluntarily and expressly to the courts and tribunals of the city of Barcelona while expressly renouncing any other jurisdiction that the user might have access to, and notwithstanding the competence that might arise in application of the law.
