The Catalan National Assembly in the United States of America (ANC-USA) launches campaign to petition Google a Doodle to commemorate October 1, 2017 in Catalonia

The Catalan National Assembly is launching a campaign from the USA that consists of two parts:

1. A campaign through Change.org to gather signatures in favor of this petition to Google
2. A virtual gallery where different  ‘Doodle’ centered around the theme of October 1, 2017 and created by the public will be put on display. This gallery will also showcase many other artistic impressions such as writings, poems, songs and caligrams by anyone who wishes to participate.

The petition has so far reached over 8,000 signatures in less than a week.

This campaign aims to explain internationally what happened in Catalonia on October 1, 2017.
